Mystery Afghan

I was browsing pictures of dorm rooms (my son is a junior in HS.. so we're starting to look at colleges now) and I saw this one with this gorgeous afghan.

I wonder if anyone knows where to find this pattern, or one similar.

It's definitely from the 101 Crochet Squares book. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0881957151 If you mouse over the photo alternatives, you'll see it on the back cover done in red with a white center.

I agree with previous comment. I have made this afghan, it's very easy and looks great when it's done.

I think it looks like the snowfire afghan pattern but done multicolor instead of red & white.

Thanks so much for all the responses. I'm not familiar with the Snowfire afghan pattern. Guess I'll go google for it. I agree with the first poster, I do think it's the square from the 101 squares book.

The patriotic afghan is very close too, but it has a scalloped edge and this one has a straight edge.

All great suggestions. Thanks again.
