Tis better to support your local yarn shops anyway.
WalMart... teaching the world to be lower class.
That's fine.. IF you have local yarn shops. Never had one in my town.. at least not in the 25 years I've been here.
I personally have to drive an hour (one way!) to visit a locally owned yarn shop. I do love it, but that takes a lot of time and energy.
There is room for both the LYS and the major chain in this world.
